50th Annual Turkey Shoot -- Magnolia Lions Club -- October 29 & 30th, 2011

Come join us for a time honored tradition here in Magnolia. The turkey shoot is a well know Magnolia Lions Club event. In fact when some people see a Magnolia Lion, they come up and ask when the next turkey shoot is. The original date for the Turkey Shoot was in September, but due to the Wildfires, it was postponed.

The new date for the Magnolia Lions Club Turkey Shoot is October 29 & 30th, 2011. Events start at 10am each day and go until dusk. Bring your shotguns, rifles and hand guns. ( All fire arms must be unloaded at your vehicle). Instruction on gun safety by Magnolia Lions on site. Burgers, chips and drinks for lunch until we run out each day.

Here are the rifle categories. Events will take two tickets per try. Most prizes will be hams or turkeys. At the event if you win you will get a voucher that you then take to the supermarket that has the hams and turkeys. There are also two raffles, both for money, $500 and $200 prizes. Raffle tickets are 6 for $5. Call me at 832-816-8066 for raffle tickets or for event tickets. (Money goes towards Lions club charities such as eyeglasses and exams for those that can't afford it, diabetes camp, TOMAGWA, SOS and others).
