There are only two weeks left before Christmas and the students and faculty at Folsom Elementary are getting into the Christmas Spirit with the 12 Day count down to Christmas. Each day is represented with a special dress attire. Here is the 12 day count down schedule.

This year is going to be another exciting year at Folsom Elementary. To start off the year Friday August 20th, is Meet the Teacher Night and Popsicles with the Principals.

Pre-K and Kindergarten:

• Meet the Teachers: 4:00 - 5:00 pm

• Popsicle with the Principals: 5:00 - 5:30 pm

1st Grade through 4th:

• Meet the Teachers: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

• Popsicles with the Principals: 6:00 - 6:30 pm

Prosper ISD has earned an Exemplary Rating under the 2010 Texas Education Agency accountability rating system. Exemplary rating is the highest that any district can receive. To earn this rating, at least 90 percent of a district's or school's students passed the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS), 95 percent of high school student either graduated on time or continued high school for a fifth year, and the district had an annual middle school dropout rate of 1.8 percent or less. Out of the entire State of Texas only 239 school districts and 2,624 schools received Texas' highest accountability rating of Exemplary.
