Looking for something fun to do this weekend, perhaps in conjunction with your Mother's Day plans? Why not enjoy the festivities of the Cottonwood Art Festival here in Richardson?
May 7-8, you and the family can enjoy this free event outdoors with a great list of local artists and craftsmen in attendance. This bi-annual event has been a part of the Richardson arts life for over forty years and continues to be an exciting opportunity to see the handiwork of artists. But don't think it's limited to just art - there will also be a children's area with arts and crafts, plenty of musicians to jam to and food and spirits galore.
The Cottonwood Art Festival is held in Cottonwood Park (between Coit and Waterview, just south of Belt Line). Again, it's FREE and a rain or shine event kicking off at 9:00 am and lasting until 6:00. Hope to see you there!
Visit the Cottonwood Art Festival website here for more information.
