Champion Springs in the Stone Oak Area

Champion Springs in the Stone Oak area is located just a bit south of the intersection of Knights Cross and Evans Road. There are about 400 homes in the community. Most of the houses in Champion Springs were built by KB Homes. The first homes were completed in the 1998-1999 time frame.

Over the past two-years, twenty-three (23) homes were sold in Champion Springs. During the past year, only eight (8) homes were sold. Price range for the recent sales-$160,000-$223,000. Median price was $170,000.

There are thirteen (13) houses currently available in Champion Springs, with prices ranging from $140,000 to $333,000 and sized from 2,008 square feet to 5,555 square feet. Now the 5,555 square foot home is way outside the norm for the area. This could be a real find for the right person- this one is about $62/square foot. That's some deal for the Stone Oak area.

Champions Springs is served by the North East Independent School District. Currently students in the area are assigned to Canyon Ridge Elementary School, Barbara Bush Middle School, and Ronald Reagan High School. Each of those schools received Exemplary Ratings, which is the highest rating possible, in the most recent Texas Education Agency testing period.
