Although this story is about an impressive Marine NCO, it is also about all who serve in the U. S. Armed Forces. The few, the proud, the Marines.

Although I'm a former Army guy, I appreciate the service of all current and former members of the U. S. Armed Forces. We have good-natured ribbing about the superior prowess of one service over the others, but we all serve for the common good.

Yesterday, I was in Fair Oaks Ranch with clients moving to the area from Georgia. We saw lots of deer. I know this is not a big deal for the outdoors types, but I'm a city guy. This getting back to nature is an adventure for me.
