Sonoma Ranch in Helotes, TX is more than a Master Planned community with 20 individual subdivisions, and numerous home builders. There are both production and custom home builders in the Sonoma Ranch area. The builders include DR Horton, Whitestone Homes, Pulte Homes, Ryland Homes, Medallion, Newmark, Toll Brothers, Japhet, Highland Homes, David Weekley Homes, McNair, Monticello, Mercedes, Comal Trace, Village Builders, Sierra Homes, and Grupo Starnes, LLC.

Many of these individual subdivision within Sonoma Ranch have controlled access, swimming pools, club house, sports courts, and children playground.
