Market Report December 2011 for Wildhorse Subdivision in San Antonio, TX
Wildhorse Subdivision in Northwest San Antonio is one of DR Horton’s Master Planned communities with some great neighborhood amenities, and schools in the Northside Independent School District. Presently there are 50 Active Homes for Sale in this community with prices ranging from 128,000 to $260,000. The average listed price is around $178,000.
The neighborhood amenities include a swimming
pool, club house, sports court, and children’s playground. The schools are Krueger Elementary, Jefferson Jr High, and Oconnor High School.
December did prove to be an very active month for home buyers shopping for homes in Wildhorse Subdivision, since a total of 8 homes sold in the month of December with an average price of $173,000, and at $78.85 per square foot. The average days on market for closed homes was 171 days. There are 5 homes pending this month with an average list price of $202,000. Average days on market for those pending homes is 60 days.
The good news for the sellers were these homes sold for 96% of the asking price, and the good news for the home buyers was these homes were priced lower this year than last year’s homes. Good pricing in a nice location and in a well maintained neighborhood makes Wildhorse Subdivision a very sought after subdivision.
January is expected to show an increase in closings and sales since there were many end of year shoppers looking for homes this month. Market Report September 2011 for Wildhorse Subdivision in San Antonio, TX

Presently there are 64 Active Homes for sale in this community with prices ranging from 128,000 to $260,000. The average listed price is around $178,000.
The neighborhood amenities include a swimming pool, club house, sports court, and children’s playground. The schools are Krueger Elementary, Jefferson Jr High, and Oconnor High School. 
As expected for the month of September, sales of homes did slow down compared to the summer months, but there were total of 7 homes that sold in the month of September with an average price of $180,000, and at $81.57 per square foot. The average days on market for closed homes was 74 days. There was only one home pending for this month.

The good news for the sellers were these homes sold for 98% of the asking price, and the good news for the home buyers was these homes were priced lower this year than last year’s homes. Good pricing in a nice location in a well maintained neighborhood makes Wildhorse Subdivision a very sought after subdivision.

October is expected to show an increase in closings and sales since there are many end of year shoppers looking to get into their homes by Thanksgiving or Christmas. Wildhorse recently got a brand new, 4 lane road that makes Wildhorse residents commute easier.

Wildhorse is a fantastic family neighborhood with an elementary school on the main street of the neighborhood http://www.nisd.net/krueger/ , two swimming pools a gazebo, walking trails, picnic area, basketball area and a daycare. All within walking distance
