March 7 and 8th will be the 3rd annual Seabrook Coastal Photo & Digital Printing Workshop in Seabrook, TX. This two day event will feature the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trails destination and what it has to offer.

Ruth Burke internationally known Texas photographer and artist will be holding the workshop. She combines location photography of nature, water birds, marine and coastal subjects with Photoshop instruction.

James F. Bay Elementary will host a Carnival Fun Run that is open to the public.

There will be a $15.00 entry fee but will include a t-shirt and participation ribbon.

Fun Packets will be available for pick up on Wednesday October 8, 2008, from 6:00-7:00pm at the James f. Bay elementary. It includes a participant number ant t-shirt along with a course map.

The carnival begins at 11:00-3:00pm at the school, and will include games, food, drinks, booths, auctions, raffles, local entertainment a petting zoo, hay ride, pony rides, cake walk and more.

Saturday, October 11th, form 9am-4pm the Seabrook United Methodist Church will holds its annual bazaar. There will be 35 artisans featuring their handmade crafts in the Ed White Youth Center.

There will be clothing, wood, glass, ceramics, kitchen items, art, jewelry, greeting cards, needlework, candles, gifts, Christmas items, a silent auction and more. There will also be homemade baked goodies.
