Welcome to the Village of Cochran’s Crossing in The Woodlands, Texas. Nestled in the very heart of The Woodlands is the 3^rd Village to be developed in The Woodlands. As The Woodlands continued to expand in the late 70’s and early 80’s, Cochran’s Crossing became a thriving and popular area.

Cochran’s Crossing lies in between The Woodlands Parkway to the south and Research Forest to the north. Cochran’s Crossing Drive defines the most western edge with Panther Creek Drive flanking the eastern edge. The village is quite large and has what I think to be one of the prettiest golf courses in the entire Woodlands.

The Palmer Golf Course gracefully winds throughout the village. Gorgeous home sites can be found all along the course. The Palmer Country Club is also one of the most gorgeous clubhouses around. Towering pines grace the stately club that boasts of extensive porches in which to enjoy the view. Fine dining as well as a wonderful grill are favorites at the course.

Cochran’s Crossing Shopping Center is located right off of Research Forest and Gosling. A Kroger-anchored center, there are many fine shops, restaurants and other service-related businesses. One of my favorite places to enjoy a fun, casual meal is Skeeter’s. Wonderful char-grilled burgers and other delicious delectable can be found there.

In The Village of Cochran’s Crossing, there are many conveniently located award-winning Conroe ISD schools. The Woodlands High School is housed within this village along with many elementary schools and intermediate schools.

Numerous parks and community swimming pools are scattered throughout the neighborhoods. Homes range from the mid 100’s to a million+. From apartments, townhomes, condos or single-family living, this village has a wide variety to offer.

When relocating within The Woodlands a few years ago I was looking for a kid friendly neighborhood where children could ride their bikes, play outside with friends and enjoy a quality of life that seems so hard to find these days!

Fortunately we found not only the perfect neighborhood but also a very friendly cul-de-sac street. For the past 6 years our street does a dinner together the night of Halloween.
