This is another photo taken in Capitol Gorge which is in Capitol Reef National Park. There is a section where the old road used to pass through Capitol Gorge (before US Hwy 24 was completed farther north), where many of the early residents of the area scratched into the rock wall. The ones that interested me the most are the WLC (the C is pretty faint), they were scratched there by my late father.
As a kid, I wondered why he would never take me down to look at this part of the Park. I guess that as he got older, he was embarrassed by the actions of his youth.

This is another photo of one of my favorite places on this earth. It is taken at the entrance to Capitol Gorge in Capitol Reef National Park. This is a series of photographs intended to illustrate why we do love living in Southern Utah. It is honestly, one of the most diversely beautiful areas that I have ever been to. Enjoy!

This is a lonely grave located in Notom, Wayne County, Utah. It is just east of Capitol Reef National Park. It is a beautiful setting to have the end of the trail. This is the reason that I wanted to share it with you all here on the 'Rain!
