Information gathered from any Utah municipal energy audits in Duchesne and Duchesne County, Utah will be used to determine energy efficiency, retrofitting and weatherization projects using funds from the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants (EECBG). Retrofitting projects will include air infiltration, energy efficient windows and doors, insulation levels, weather-stripping and caulking, and electric base loads.

Using its EECBG formula funding to retrofit and improve the energy efficiency of a number of it's municipal buildings that will result in substantial reduction in energy usage.
EECBG Formula grants can be used for energy efficiency and conservation programs and projects community wide, as well as renewable energy installations on local municipal buildings, city facilities, local city and county government buildings. EECBG programs include: energy efficiency stimulus funding, energy efficiency retrofit programs, municipal efficiency retrofits, retrofitting of city owned buildings.
If an EECBG weatherization and retrofitting project is selected, an energy audit must be completed first in order to prioritize other activities.
We foresee energy efficiency block grant funds as a crucial component of pursuing energy efficiency programs within a town, city or local government.

Alamo Infrared is the oldest and largest building inspector and energy auditor for homes, businesses, cgurches, schools, medical and government buildings in the Rocky Mountain West.

I had the opportunity to get a picture of Starvation Reservoir near Duchesne, Utah. It got it,s name because a rancher tried to raise cattle in this area and they all starved. In 1970 the reservoir was built and now there is more irrigation water to that area. If you enjoy fishing for wall eye and small mouthed bass this is the place to go. The area also is great for swimming, water skiing, boating, sailing, camping. It is about an hour from Vernal coming from the east side of the state, or 2 hours from Salt Lake coming from the west side of the state.

Here is a new picture to help you see part of the size of the reservoir. You can not see the end in this picture and it also extends behind me farther than you can see if I took a picture of that side.

Just arrived home from the Camelot Resort, which is located just outside of Fruitland Utah. Here is the website link for Camelot Resorts.
Our extended family on my wife's side spent the last three days there, great environment for kids and families. Fantastic facility and the owners are very friendly as well.
We had 40 family members there and it didn't cost more then $1400 dollars to rent out the main lodge for two nights. The resort is withing 20 minutes of starvation reservoir, and 25 minutes from Strawberry reservoir. So if you like to water ski or fish this is the place! The rock formations that surround this property are simply stunning, the fresh air and amazing scenery are fantastic.
The best part was how close it was to the Wasatch front. Only an hour and fourty five minute drive from Salt Lake City or Provo Utah. I'll be posting some amazing night time photo's that my brother-in-law and I took one night during our short stay.
Finally, there are a number of wonderful lots in this area that are for sale. Not a bad summer cabin or winter cabin if you like to snowmobile or cross country ski.
