New Harmony, UT

Today Darcy and I were on the schedule to work the office in New Harmony. That is an all day commitment, it is something that we don't mind, but it is still all day. I took the opportunity to wander around outside of the office and took a few pictures with my phone. Does anyone remember when your phone wasn't also a camera? How about does anyone remember what we did without a camera in our phones? It is becomming a foggy memory in mind! Anyway here are a few of the photos I took with my camera, er phone.

I have done several blogs about the subdivisions in the Cedar City Real Estate Market that we work in. We also work several cities and towns, New Harmony is no exception especially since the Broker opened a branch office in New Harmony. We go down and work in that office at least once a month. We prospect there and have listed homes there.

New Harmony is in Washington County, but it is much closer to Cedar City than it is to St. George. It is a community that consists of the older part of town which is a couple of miles West of Interstate 15 on State Hwy 144, and a newer area built much closer to the Interstate. It is a quiet, laid back community. It has some older homes and some very nice larger custom style homes on acreage. There are still some farms and ranches in the area as well

As of 10/1/2011 there are 19 homes listed for sale in the New Harmony area, they range in price from $125,000 to $1,159,000. There is a wide selection of the size of homes and acreage for sale. It makes a great addition to the Cedar City Real Estate Market!

As you can see, New Harmony is a beautiful area, with nice homes and a great lifestyle!

What's happening in New Harmony on October 9, 2010? How about a day full of family fun and activities at the New Harmony Apple Festival.

If you're looking for an outdoor activity in southern Utah tomorrow this might be right up your alley.  There will be food vendors, local crafters, children's entertainment, a bake sale and of course apple pie and ice cream.  The event is being held at the New Harmony Fire Department Park, 133 E. Center St. Ne Harmony UT.  The fun begins at 10:00 am and runs until 6:00 pm.  In addition to the usual events there will also be a car show this year!

The grand prize for the festival drawing will be a cruise for two this year.  Tickets are $5 each and you do not need to be present to win. Fresh apples will also be available for purchase.  Be sure to come out and support the New Harmony Fire Department if you're in southern Utah this weekend.
