About Salt Lake City's Glendale

More and more of our commercial real estate inspections are now including fast food restaurants that have closed in this economic down turn. One transaction this spring was a chain of franchise units that were sold individually. The building was "as is" when we inspected them (minus the food) and in most instances the buyer attended the inspection. I personally enjoyed listening to them talk about their "future" establishment and what it will soon be transformed into. Most we going to be Mexican food, one was to soon become an "organic food" take out.

My favourite was this man from Greece who was going to open up a Greek Food Restaurant. He was so animated and excited as we walked through the kitchen and prep areas. He said "I'm gonna take all of this out and put in wood fired grills, and maybe a rotisserie in the front"

Well, yesterday I found myself around lunch time a few blocks away from Mr. Greek's place so I stopped by. WOW! What a difference 4 months makes. I dug out the old photos from April and the ones that I took yesterday so you can compare. What wonderful food they offer, and a great lunch experience.
