The one townhome that was previously available and listed for under $300,000 has already been snapped up. But, first-time and scale-down buyers will have a bit more of a selection with condos in the under $300k price bracket.

Here's what future Kingstowne home sellers can tell from looking at the numbers:

If you own a townhome with a market value between $400,000 - $499,999, then you'll likely be sitting pretty because that's where the action is. In the past 30 days, five townhomes in this price range went under contract. That means that buyers and sellers reached an agreement, and these homes are no longer available.

• It is about 10 minutes to the Blue Line Metrorail stations at either Franconia-Springfield or Van Dorn Street. Your selection of station will probably depend on where you live in Kingstowne.
