About Arlington's Courthouse

Today, I previewed a bunch of townhouses in Northern Virginia in the 90+ degree heat. And for part of the time, I was just dragging myself from one property to the next. But it wasn't so hot that I didn't stop to notice some really beautiful landscaping in some of these communities. Here are a few of the June flowers that caught my eye:

These yellow lilies were pretty spectacular. How can they look so calm and cool on such and incredibly hot and himid day!

And then there were these bright orange lilies that seem to grow completely wild for the first couple of weeks in June.

And I took this shot through a fence.

Oh, and I took them all with my I-Phone. Amazing what it can do.

Still, it's time to get out my grown up camera and start to take some serious shots!

One of the hints that a condo or townhouse complex is pretty well kept is, after all, the way the place is landscaped. And I took these three shots of common ground for some of the area's most popular townhouse projects.

This is the second Courthouse area property that I've listed that has sold after the initial open house.

Court House Metro station is located near the Arlington County Courthouse at 2100 Wilson Blvd.,
Arlington, VA 22201. This station is on the Orange Line and will be on the new Silver Line. There are long-range plans to create a new entrance for the station at its western end. Reports describe the new entrance as an elevator that would connect the western end of the platform to a location near the corner of Clarendon Boulevard and Barton Street.

There is no parking available at Court House metro but there are plenty of bike racks and car sharing is available. Several bus lines converge at Court House Metro.
