The Fairlington area has long been a very popular place to live for the home owner who wants to be minutes from Washington, D.C. and be able to walk to night-life and entertainment, such as Shirlington. The five HOAs that comprise Fairlington proper, Windgate I and II, Parkfairfax, Heatherlea, and Courtbridge all offer something unique and desireable.

The Arlington is another community in the Fairlington area offering affordable, typically upgraded condo-style living in the heart of everything. Convenient and walk-able to the entertainment and restaurants of Shirlington, and the shopping of Skyline, The Arlington is just a stone’s throw to the Pentagon (commuter buses to the metro are available) and downtown D.C.

Current market trends in The Arlington show typical results for much of the Northern Virginia area...sales prices are down slightly, and inventory is lower than last year. The inventory reflects the fact that many sellers are waiting to see where the economy is headed and hoping for a housing market correction.
