In Northern Prince William County there are three active adult (age 55 or better) communities that cater to the Active Adult lifestyle. Unlike Heritage Hunt and Regency, Dunbarton is the one active adult community in the area that caters to the active adult lifestyle without featuring a golf course.

Dunbarton is located in Bristow, VA, next to the community of Braemar. It's a mix of single family homes and duplexes...all built around the community's feature...their clubhouse.

Inside the clubhouse is a modest library, an informal gathering area that always invites the passerby to partake in a puzzle, a billards room, indoor pool, sauna and fitness room. There is even an "event" room that can be rented for special occasions or used for group activities like Bingo or various classes. Step outside to enjoy the tennis courts with built-in, landscaped seating.

The Clubhouse has spectacular views in the Fall and Spring, as it backs to Broad Run. With a large Trex deck off the back, it is a serene location to sit and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature around you.

Recently, Dunbarton did add a putting green in the front left of the clubhouse. It's just enough to satisfy the occassional golfer.

HOA fees are more modest than Heritage Hunt and Regency, and includes basic cable and internet.

Brookfield Homes has just about built out the community, but they still have some brand new duplexes and single family homes available. Call me if you'd like to investigate the opportunities this lifestyle is offering.
