For the 4th quarter of 2011, Centre Ridge continued to show strong sales with 15 townhomes going to settlement between October 1, 2011 and the end of the year. Of these 15 units half were regular sales and the other half were made up of a combination of short sales (5) and foreclosures (2).
With variances in number of bathrooms and whether the townhome had a garage the price range was from $260,000 to a high of $349,900. Across all 16 units the average days on market was 42 days due to the high number of short sales. In the homes that were not in a distressed situation (foreclosure or short sale) days on market was closer to 12 days.
The proximity to major commuting routes of Rte 28, Rte 29 and I-66 along with easy access to shopping, restaurants, movie theatre and other amenities continues to make Centre Ridge a popular place to live.

A popular community for homebuyers looking for Centreville homes for sale is Centre Ridge. Here are some interesting facts concerning Centre Ridge homes and the Centre Ridge community:
- “Centre Ridge”, as it is popularly known, is technically called Centre Ridge Regent, or you’ll sometimes see Centre Ridge – The Regent. It’s actually part of a larger overall development known as Centre Ridge that also includes commercial space, apartments, etc. However, over time, the community name Centre Ridge has been most closely associated specifically with the Centre Ridge Regent residential community of homeowners.
- Centre Ridge is a community of 935 total homes - 701 are townhomes and 234 are single family homes
- The primary original builder was NV Homes, with a lot of homes also built by Ryan. Lang also built a fair number of homes, particularly in the area closest to the public parkland/soccer field toward the back of the community
- The community has one pool, two tennis courts, and three tot lots. The community center has a small gym containing treadmills, stationary bikes, an elliptical, and weights. There is also a racquetball court on the lower level with locker rooms leading out to the pool.
- Centreville Elementary School is conveniently located in the middle of the subdivision. While Centre Ridge has its own tot lots, Centre Ridge residents frequently use the school playground after hours.
