Chantilly VA homes Sales for September 2009 were just release by MRIS our MLS system on October 10th, 2009 for single family detached Chantilly homes for salelocated in Loudoun County VA 20152. There were 15 sales for the month of September 2009. Below is a chart I generated from our MRIS to show you the price ranges of the homes sold. The lower range had fewer sales because in single family homes available, and the higher price ranges had fewer sales because there were fewer buyers.

The most recent MRIS statistics were just released for or MLS on October 10Th, and I thought I would share Chantilly VA 20152 statistics for Loudoun County VA. Yes sales are up, but prices are way downThe average sales price in September 2009 not including any sellers concessions is now at $423,935 that is down 16.58% from the same time frame in 2008 where the average sold price stood at $508,163. The average list price for home has also dropped. So the good news is that more homes are being sold, but the bad news is at much lower prices than last year.

The new Harris Teeter Supermarket in Chantilly VA just opened recently. The new Harris Teeter Store is located of Route 50 and Tall Cedars Pkwy in Eastern Marketplace Plaza. Harris Teeter has also gone "Green' with this new store. Harris Teeter is serious about its commitment to environmentalism in Energy and Environmental Design. The store is certified GreenChill and a Gold-Level store (GreenChill certification is awarded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The GreenChill program recognizes stores for using environmentally friendlier commercial refrigeration systems.) The new Harris Teeter supermarket is located in East Gate Marketplace on 25401 Eastern Marketplace Plaza in Chantilly, VA right next to South Riding Subdivision. The Harris Teeter Supermarket opened on Wednesday, October 14 following a ribbon cutting ceremony in the morning.

Year to date there have been 100 fee simple South Riding town homes sold in South Riding. These are all sales of South Riding Town Homes listed in MRIS (fee simple) in South Riding from 01/01/2009 to 9/30/2009. While the number is impressive the prices are not they have move down.
