I've mentioned before that South Riding is an incredible place to live and call home, but for convenience in lifestyle it really cannot be beat. Not only is South Riding literally just over the county line in Loudoun VA it have everything you need right inside the community. There are many subdivisions where you can buy a nice home, but if you want a quart of milk, pack a lunch before you go out to get it. Inside of South Riding there is a Giant Supermarket in South Riding, and a Blooms Supermarket. Nearby on Tall Cedars Parkway a new Harris Teeters will be opening very shortly. If you want gormet items Wegmans Dulles is just a short drive away (6.3 miles) on 45131 Columbia Pl Sterling, VA 20166

If you are looking for a great place to live in the DC area, you should consider buying a home in South Riding! Since there is always a lot of spin about one neighborhood over another, but once and a while you have to seperate the myth from fact. South Riding is just a great community, and a great place to call home. Inside South Rding there are places of worship, a golf course, several swimming pools, tennis, community centers, walking path, supermarkets, coffee shops, shoppes and a plethora of things to do!

On recent trips to the South Riding subdivision in Chantilly VA I noticed in the last few months that sales activity and home construction have picked up quite a bit. It is my understanding that a few months ago there were very few homes in South Riding being sold and then all of a sudden there are well over 25 new contracts for single family detached new homes. That is quite a feat, and very promising. Interest rates are absolutely incredible, so the carrying costs to own a new home in South Riding is a lot less than it was just a short while ago. Also, many home buyers want the safety of established swim tennis and golf neighborhoods. There is a lot less risk buying in a subdivision like South Riding that is already well established. Within the subdivision there are schools, restaurants, banks, shopping and the quality of life has already been established.

South Riding is located just inside Loudoun County VA from Route 50. It is only 30 miles to DC, and just a short trip to DC. It is all about location, location, location and price!
