About Chesterfield's River Ridge

The River Ridge neighborhood is located in southern Chesterfield, Virginia. Just minutes from Pocohantas State Park, the neighborhood has large lots and is wooded and private. There is a wide variety of architectural styles represented with capes, colonials, southern and victorian homes.

The lots are acre plus and some are quite large. The neighborhood features lots of cul de sacs and has many homes tucked back in the woods where all you see is a drive.

There aren't any neighborhood amenities like a pool or walking trails, but it is a very walkable, friendly neighborhood and doesn't have a ton of restrictions like neighborhoods with stict association rules. The advantage is that you don't have someone breathing down your neck about violations, but then neither do your neighbors!

Many of the homes have front porches and back decks and quite a few homes feature pools. So, if you make friends with your neighbors, you have a chance at being invited to pool parties!

The homes run from the low 200's to $400.000 and are on large wooded lots that are rare.
