About Chesterfield's River's Trace

I lived in River's Trace when my oldest son was born and loved sitting on my front porch, rocking him in my swing. When he got a little bigger, I would put him in the baby seat on the back of my bike and we would tour the neighborhood. There were days when we would be playing in the front yard for half an hour and no cars had passed by. We made many friends while we lived there and enjoyed taking walks after dinner, saying hi to the neighbors and seeing the changes of the seasons in all of the wooded areas. One of my favorite parts of living in River's Trace was coming home to see bunnies scattering into the woods in my car's headlights. I loved the quiet and peaceful neighborhood and only moved when we did to be in my parent's neighborhood.

This a very walkable or bikable neighborhood. It's quiet so there is little worry about tons of traffic flying by. The gentle rolling hills are perfect, not to challenging, but not boring either. There are tons of ins and outs with little cul de sacs and a main loop for long walks. Many little creeks run between the homes and are the perfect place to find a tadpole in the spring. Most lots have a buffer of woods behind them so you have your own private sanctuary.

Lake Chesdin is nearby for boating and summer fun. You are only minutes from Pocohantas State park. If you love outdoor activities, River's Trace is perfectly situated.

The neighbors are friendly. The distance between the homes guarantees you privacy and that makes for great neighbors! You can't beat the value with homes starting in the $170,000's and going up to $250,000s. It is hard to find homes like these on large lots for this price anywhere else in Chesterfield.
