Planning to buy new construction? Have a knowledgeable real estate agent help you.
It costs you nothing and can reduce your monetary outflow and your stress level.

The builder's representatives job is to protect the builder's interests. Your buyer's agent is responsible to you.
The following photo tour is of a typical pre-drywall walk through which you attend with your Realtor and the builder's construction manager.
What you are looking for at this stage is to make sure that all your electrical and plumbing options are all in the right place. You can also hire the home inspector of your choice and have him give you a report on the structural integrity of the property.

This new home project is in the community of Idlewild in Fredericksburg VA.
I took these photos of our client's walk through so that they would have a record of the construction of their new home to look back on.
I also took a shot of each wall so that they would have a record of what was in the wall so that in the future when they want to drive a big nail it won't go into a water pipe :-)
