Last evening my wife and I were both feeling a bit fatigued. I suggested we go out for dinner (which we don't very often do) and of course the next question was, "Where?" We thought for a moment and then both of us said in unison, "How About Japanese or Chinese Food?"
The Taste of Asian Restaurant is located right outside of the gate where we live. We decided to go there and it was truly a great experience. I had Sweet & Sour Chicken and Sharon enjoyed General Tso's Chicken. The food and service was wonderful!
If you enjoy a quiet dining experience with excellent food, and you live around the Northern Virginia Area, the Taste of Asian Restaurant is a Gainesville Virginia Restaurant worth considering.

Living in Heritage Hunt in Gainesville, VA

Back in 2007, my Mom found living in our two story, childhood home in Fairfax no longer possible. The stairs were not something her aging body could handle. After one fall, with no major injury, my brother and I decided it was time for a condo. We weren't going to wait for Mom to break her hip to start the house hunt.
Mom's dream was to live in the home she'd raised us for the rest of her life. She didn't want to relocate, but she didn't have a choice. Since I lived in the Gainesville area, we took her to two active adult communities (Regency at Dominion Valley and Heritage Hunt.) We asked her to pick whichever neighborhood and condo she liked best. She chose Heritage Hunt. The first six months after the move, I was convinced Mom would all any minute to disown me. She doesn't recall being that grumpy about her new home. She's been there four years now and is happy as a clam. She loves her neighbors and her health has even improved. She gets out and socializes with her neighbors at some of the numerous social calendar activities they have planned every month. This is major for my brother and I to see because during the final years in our childhood home, she'd become withdrawn and hardly left the home.

Mom is turning 80 this December. As a Heritage Hunt resident, she gets to rent the Marsh Mansion free to host parties. Of course, catering is done through the Heritage Hunt Country Club, but they have been amazingly easy to deal with, and the prices are very reasonable. The food selections, and serving options, are plentiful as well.
We're heading to the Heritage Hunt Clubhouse today to sample a handful of dishes so Mom can narrow down to two choices she will have served at her birthday bash. Being a Heritage Hunt resident has turned my Mom's life around and I think it's great that we'll be celebrating her 80th birthday in the place responsible for that transformation.
