My wife is preparing Easter Dinner, my kids are bowling and golfing on the WII. The cats are sleeping in the Sun.

The eggs are colored (see photo) and we had our Easter Egg hunt this morning!

It is another grand day living in Charlottesville! No tours today with clients .... just family.

Life for me and my family could not be much better. We live in a beautiful area, we have each other and we all have our health.

When we moved to Charlottesville (8 years ago) we took on the challenge of a new area where we did not know anyone.

There was something that brought me here and I feel it was to offer a better life for my family.

This included my mother, who lives with us. She is now 85 and tells me that she feels moving to Charlotteville Virginia has prolonged her life.

All I can say is that it is Easter Sunday 2008 and we are happy!

Today I got to do one of my Favorite things and that is to show land in the Charlottesville area.

My day started with meeting up with some friends and clients. After talking for a short time we all jumped into my truck and went out to see several lots in our area. These parcels varied from 2-5+ acres as we are looking for the perfect private place to build a home.

This process started wilth searching for properties on my website which shows all Charlottesville Real Estate. Then after my clients selected the area they preferred we narrowed it down to 5 or 6 properties.

Then we got to see the area and drive and walk (in the rain) several places.

What a great job I have, working with nice people, walking in the fresh air and helping them to build a dream home.

I am extremely excited to hear that our school board is embracing technology to reach out to the public!

It becomes a battle sometimes to get people involved in the running of schools and here is a way for us to participate in the comfort of our own homes.

Here is the announcement: School Board to Host First Tele-Town Hall Jan. 16 on Budget:

The Albemarle County School Board will host its first Tele-Town Hall on Wed., January 16, 2008 at 7 p.m. The Tele-Town Hall will focus on the School Division budget development process for the 2008-09 school year.

Albemarle County parents and community members can participate in the Tele-Town Hall in the comfort of their own homes. In a Tele-Town Hall, residents receive an automated phone call to their homes. A recorded message invites residents to join the Tele-Town Hall by pressing a keypad on their phones. Residents can listen and can ask questions of presenters.

The Tele-Town Hall is part of the School Board's efforts to build public understanding of the budget development process and increase public participation. To learn more about the budget development process and how you can be involved, please visit the School Division website at www.k12albemarle.org/board/budget.

I hope that more areas take on the challenges of comunication with technology.
