PW Chamber New Member Showcase held March 9, 2012 at the Comfort Suite in Manassas located on Williamson Blvd. The New Member Showcase is a Free event and open to new as well as veteran members of the Chamber. To showcase your business you need to have joined the PW Chamber that quarter. The event is held at various locations through out the county. This is just one of the many networking opportunities you have to showcase your business.

The PW Chamber is a great way to grow your business. When I joined the Chamber 20+ years ago I was a new real estate agent. What Makes a House a Home?

Everyone has their own sense of what makes a house a home. For some it's not home until grandmother's china is on display in the dining room. For others it isn't home until they've made their own home theater where they'll enjoy movies every weekend. Most everyone can agree that a house isn't a home until you've added your loved ones. Maybe you've christened your house by hosting a family Thanksgiving feast. Or maybe it's a regularly occurring weekend cookout in the warmer months.

For me, one of the most important things that makes my house a home are my pets. They are there to curl up next to me on the couch and fall asleep with me watching TV late at night. They are there to greet me with their bright eyes when I come home from a long day out with clients. They are in my face in the morning reminding me they are hungry. They love curling up on my fresh laundry, hot out of the dryer. Or they are there to enjoy the fresh breeze blowing in from an open window when spring rolls around.
