I had the wonderful opportunity to meet the new owner of this beautiful home in the spectacular neighborhood of Hallsley the other day when I took photos of it. She was thrilled to be moving into her new home and I'm sure you can imagine why from looking at this photo! It is an amazing home with great period details, a modern open floor plan and amenities galore.

If you love older homes and all of the great period features, but don't want all of the hassles of owning an older home, building a home like this might be just what you are looking for. My husband and I adore old farm houses, but really wanted a bright, open home to raise our family in, so we also decided to build a new home, using lots of period details.....love my claw foot tub and was so excited to see that this house has one too!
