Newport News, VA

One of my favorite areas of Newport News is the Noland Trail near the James River. The Trail is a 5 mile nature trail around Lake Maury with 14 different bridges and is home to lots of wildlife and a variety of plants. It is truly an oasis in the city.

My short sale in Newport News is finally done. It has been going on since Feb 2009. Thank goodness I had a negotiator working the deal for me, Julian Properties. The first mortgage company was impossible and the second mortgage company was insane. Once we had approval from them the buyer (only the second one) had to go back through the loan process again as well as another termite inspection. Then to top it all off we had a water leak in the vacant house. Everyone stuck with it and made it happen. The selling agent, Stephanie Hill, was just great. Without her it may not have gotten done.
