Virginia Beach Handyman/Handywoman?

Hello my fellow Virginia Beach AR Bloggers. Does anyone know a respectable handyman/handywoman? They do not need to be the cheapest, but not looking to be taken either.

I need one that has refrences and would not make me feel strange leaving them around my family.

I have a small list that is growing and growing. If you know of anyone please have them email or call my husband Dave. He is fairly handy himself but works so much to get this list done.

He can be reached at dave@IJLMortgage.com or 757-274-7994.

Thanks,

-Ingrid

Networking at Events

AR Friends,

Some time ago I had a friend that would network 3 days a week on the golf course. He was a great golfer that was always opening new great accounts.

Clearly he loved the game, and so many others tried to copy him and went to "network" on the golf course too but they were very unsuccessful in opening new accounts.

So I asked him what he thought the difference was and he said "It's simple... I never forget why I am there." and it was simple, he was there to make money - not golf... the golfing was just a bonus.

I take that advice with me to all my networking events and it helps me meet quality prospects and stay on task.

Maybe it will help you too.

The Kempsville area of Virginia Beach has been my home since 2004 and I absolutely love it! Kempsville, which use to be called Kemps Landing many years ago, is continuing to get bigger and better all the time. There are things in Kempsville for all ages which makes Kempsville a great place to raise a family. We have gorgeous parks , Woodstock located off of Providence Road , is my family's favorite. It's a great park to enjoy on hot summer days because of the shade all of the trees provide. Kempsville also has a Recreation Center that features a pool, fitness center, bowling alley and much more for all ages to enjoy...at a very reasonable price! Kempsville also has a variety of restaurants such as Applebee's, Golden Corral, almost all the fast food places everyone loves and some great family owned restaurants as well. Enjoy a night out at the movies.....we have that too! The Cinema Cafe offers a dinner and a movie theme that draws a crowd nearly every weekend. Not a movie person? How about skating? Kempsville Family Skating center is a hit for all ages! If eating out, movie watching, and skating is not your thing, then you must be a shopper! We have that too! From family owned businesses such as Funky Beat and Tidewater Folk Art to large chain stores such as K-mart, Fashion Bug, and TJ Maxx, you should find plenty of places to get your fill of shopping. You will also find many churches in Kempsville for just about any religion you may practice. Now, see why I love Kempsville so much? If you are thinking of moving, make sure you check out Kempsville. We may just have something that will make you want to call it home also!
