FIRST, make certain you click on the Flush Left icon as you begin to type - that by itself will make an improvement. Using Justify does not look good in a blog unless you like the "newspaper look".

SECOND, When you insert a picture or graphic there are three tabs at the top of the box - one is "Appearance" and it is pictured below.

  • Clicking in the box labeled "alignment" will give you a wide range of placement options - I obviously chose right for the examples above
  • Dimensions is one you already use to set the size - nothing magical here
THIRD. Here's the simple part. If you type the number 10 in the box labeled horizontal and vertical before you hit insert you will be inserting a space between the text and picture on all four sides. The larger the number the more white space around the picture - it all depends on your preference. Yes, you can add a border - try various numbers to change its' size
