Seen that this will be post 436, and at the time of writing this post. I have 274,303 points, I would say that I'm very active in the ActiveRain community.
I'll start this here post out by explaining, why I did not make it a members only post.
Last year, I asked a good friend here in the ActiveRain community. Why they had not made a post they had written members only. Well I was told it was because the public, could very will take that as being you have something to hide from them. And when folks think you are hiding things from them, how can you ask or even expect them to trust you. Will I gave that some thought. My friend is 100% right. I want Y'all to know this good friend, does not only blog in this community. But has also setup, blogging community's on the net.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay now to get this here ActiveRain- I Sure Do have a Bone to pick with You! post underway.
The first area to cover with you ActiveRain, I would not have even had to write this post. If Y'all had only taken the time to get back to my contact e-mails to ya. But Y'all saw fit to turn your back to the issue's.
Some very important Widgets have been taken from my blogging post pages. My Blog Log, RE411, and COPYSCAPE. Then the other day, I went to add a Twitter widget to my sit, will low and behold it does not show up. Seen that other members have these widgets on their blogs still. The only thing that I think about all this, is Y'all have blacked me from being able to have Widgets on my Blog.
Seen that I pay COPYSCAPE to protect my post content, I sure do have to be up front with Y'all. It really tee's me off about it not being on the right side of my blog site.
Seen that My Blog Log Widget is longer on my page, when ever I visit and leave other member of ActiveRain a comment. That are also members of My Blog Log, my photo does not show on their Widget.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now for one that affects all ActiveRain members in the community!
This part does not have anything to do with, how or why a posts get Featured by ActiveRain. Or why it seem's the same members are Featured over and over.
A bit ago Y'all took away the ability of our posts to move back to the top in group's they are posted in. When folks would leave a comment on them. I sure do not feel that was right of Y'all to do.
I read a post written, asking about this. One of the so called ActiveRain community builder's, left a comment. Saying it was because some member's, thought it was not fare to their post's. That others were only socializing with one another. To only keep their friends posts at the top of the groups. So Y'all put a stop to our post's going back to the top, when someone would leave a comment on them.
Will I have to ask, now isn't that what is really going on with the Featured post's on the ActiveRain main page, that comes up when folks first enter the community?
So if it's okay for the Featured post's to move back to the top after someone leaves a comment, why can't the rest of us have the something for our post's in the groups they are posted in?
I do know this post is a Hot Potato, but I had to write it! Have been thinking about it for a bit. I'm just not the kind to lay down, and play dead.
Will ActiveRain these are two of the Bone's that I have to pick with You!
