Baked Bean Dinner being held in West Weathersfield Vermont, just about everyone enjoys having baked beans, come on out and join others to some.

This mighty fine Baked Bean Dinner is being held this fine evening of Saturday the 21st of January 2012. The dinner is going to be held at the West Weathersfield Fire Station, which is located at the intersection of Routes 106 and 131 in West Weathersfield, Vermont.
Baked Bean Dinner being held in West Weathersfield Vermont, the dinner will start at 5:30 P.M. The menu of the dinner will include Hot Dogs, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Chop Suey, Brownies and Ice Cream for dessert and Beverages. The cost of the dinner for folks is as follows, $9.00 for Adults, $4.50 for Kids 6 to 12 years of age and Free for Kids under the age of 6.

Potluck Supper and Mali Program in Weathersfield Vermont, Mali is a landlocked Country in Western Africa. Mali borders Algeria on the North, Niger on the East, Burkina Faso and Cote dlovire on the South. Some of the natural resources of Mali include salt, Gold, and Uranium.

This here program called Casseroles and Cultures, Our Year in Mali. The program is free for folks to come and attend. The potluck supper will start at 6:00 P.M. this evening of the 17th of July 2011 and will be followed by the Mali program which will start at 7:00 P.M. Both will be held at the Weathersfield Meeting House.

Potluck Supper and Mali Program in Weathersfield Vermont, Rand Brown will share with folks about the year that he and his family spent in Mali. Both Randy and his wife, Stacy worked and their young kids attended School during their year in Mali. They will be sharing many mighty interesting stores and photos for folks to enjoy.

Vermont Mount Ascutney and a Picnic Event Starts in Weathersfield Vermont, so what do you have fun planned to do during the Memorial Day Weekend of 2011. Besides spending time with your loved ones and having a fun time, or looking at this as just being a long weekend with a extra day off with pay.

How about taking the time to remember that the Freedom that you and your family enjoy in your daily lives, did not come to you Free! There are many Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel that have gave up a lot in order for you to enjoy your Freedoms. As y'all are doing things over this Memorial Day Weekend, how about looking for Veterans and Active Duty Military Personnel and put out your hand to them, and say Thank You! Matter of fact, how about starting with this Memorial Day Weekend and making it a practice to do each and every day. I would also like to ask each and every one of you to take time out of your plans to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday in your area or in the area which you are at.


Vermont Mount Ascutney and a Picnic Event Starts in Weathersfield Vermont, if you happen to like going hiking, then you sure will enjoy going to this here event today, Saturday the 28th of May 2011. The Ascutney Trails Association is inviting hikers of all ages to come join them at their 45th Annual Picnic, which they hold on the summit of Mount Ascutney. The picnic lunch will consist of sandwiches, cookies and lemon drink, which will be served between the hours of 11:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. They will be awarding trophies to the youngest and oldest hikers. You'll want to bring a canteen of water. If you bring a dog on the hike up to the Mount Ascutney Summit, your dog must be on a leash. If you would like more information about this event, please call 802-674-2326.


The hike up Mount Ascutney from Weathersfield, Vermont can be tough but it sure is a mighty rewarding hike. The first part of the hike, from the parking lot to the cascades is a well-maintained moderate trail, that has mighty fine frequent view to enjoy. After that though the hiking trail becomes steeper and the trail markers are not as good. But once you have reached the West Peak, the views sure are mighty fine to set your eyes on from there.

Vermont Mount Ascutney and a Picnic Event Starts in Weathersfield Vermont, Mount Ascutney is the weathered core of an old volcano that at one time towered 20,000 feet into the air, it stands alone over the Connecticut River. The name of this here mountain derives from several Abenaki Native American words meaning "Mountain of the Rocky Summit". Back in 1825, Vermont's very first Mountain Hiking Trail was cut on Mount Ascutney.Later on in 1909, while James P. Taylor as he was hiking on Mount Ascutney, he had the inspiration to create the Long Trail of Vermont which eventually spawned the Green Mountain Club and the idea for the Appalachian Trail. The Ascutney Trails Association takes care of the trail and can be reached at PO Box 147 Windsor, Vermont 05089
