• Place on bbq in shell on med lo heat.
• When they pop open they are done .
• Open the shell loosen them from the shell.
• Put them back on the barbie on the half shell.
• Top them with mozarella, parmesan cheese and pesto sauce. Let heat til the cheese starts to melt and

oh boy are you in for a treat!

We are in the middle of a heat wave here on the North Shore Hood Canal and surrounding area. Our summertimes generally keep us in the 80's or less - not near 100 degrees like it is today. So we are probably all looking for and heading towards any body of water for a reprieve!

Here along the North Shore of Hood Canal, life tends to glide along at a little bit slower pace.... Unlike the South Shore of Hood Canal, the North Shore is a little bit quieter with very little traffic... The South Shore of Hood Canal is very popular and well know as a destination spot, but the North Shore keeps its secrets pretty well hidden...

Walking along the wooden planks I find myself in a new world.

There are some awesome waterfront homes for sale out there right now!

Hood Canal Waterfront homes for sale along both the North Shore and South Shore are in a fair abundance for this month. There are many choices and many price ranges all offering many unique waterfront home opportunities.

There are currently 14 North Shore Hood Canal Waterfront Homes for sale. Prices range from a low of $399,000 on up to a high of $1,495,000. One home has just come on the market at $1,495,000;

The average market time for homes actively listed is 240 days along the waterways of Southern Puget Sound and the North and South Shores of Hood Canal.

A great example of some of the fantastic waterfront homes, would be the home at 10811 North Shore Road for $449,900. It includes 3 tax parcels for over an acre of land along with a 100 ft of bulkheaded lo-bank waterfront and a cottage by the sea that has been recently remodeled with updated wiring and plumbing as well.

There are currently no pending sales along the North Shore of Hood Canal (South Shore currently has one pending sale) and there have been no homes sold during the month of January or February along the shores of North Shore Hood Canal. The North Shore of Hood Canal includes the small and charming towns of Tahuya and Dewatto as well. These areas offer a lot of privacy and very few travelers upon it. An occasional stray tourist will head down the eventual dead end road, but for the most part the North Shore of Hood Canal offers a little more privacy than does the South Shore of Hood Canal.

I had to share this beautiful picture. I am not the one that took it but I think it is amazing. I love to see what new colors nature can throw into the sky. I would expect to find these on a tropical flower, or a cool Tee shirt, but I find it mesmerizing here.

We are so lucky to have this planet to hang out on .It changes every day and in so many amazing ways!
