DAY 204: Bonney Lake Lake Tapps Livin~365 Things to do

Hello all and Happy Thursday to you. I hope your day is going well. We just arrived home from swimming lessons and are now going to snuggle and watch Christmas movie. I feel so fortunate to be able to give to my children and treat them to a fun filled December. There are so many unfortunate kiddos out there, I think Ben Franklin Crafts in Bonney Lake is doing a tremendous job with their Giving Tree.

The Giving TreeView VIDEO
The Giving Tree is decorated with tags that represent a child in our community, boy or girl, with their age and toy request. Select a tag and return the unwrapped donation to the store to receive a beautiful key ornament with the quote “A giving heart unlocks the true meaning of Christmas” as a thank you gift for your generosity.

Help them grant the wishes of each child to make this Christmas a memorable one.

Support the children here in Bonney Lake. Target and the Bonney Lake police department are so generous teaming up to assist with needy kids, I love it!

“Shop with a Cop” is a program that happens every December where The Bonney Lake Police Department teams up with Target to provide gift cards for children that need extra assistance. The children get to ride in police cars and fire trucks to Target where they are teamed up with a Cop to help spend their giftcard.

Donations are greatly needed to help assist in covering the cost of the gift cards for kids selected by their school counselors.

Come visit our officers today, November 15, 2011 at Target from 4-7p and drop off a cash donation or Target gift card. Any size donation is greatly appreciated. If you are unable to make it today to Target you may also drop off your donation to the Bonney Lake Police Dept, 18421 Sumner-Buckley Hwy E, from 8:30a-5p Monday through Friday.

A big shout out goes to the Bonney Lake Target for their generous time and donations!
