If you're looking for the charm of a small town, it's hard to beat Camas, Washington. We think our tree-lined streets have a lot to offer. There's generally always something to see or do in downtown Camas.

There are plenty of shops and services too, including Nico Bella Spa and Salon. The shop is named after the owner's two children, and you'll find a surprising level of sophisticated services associated with a much larger city.

The Camas Hotel, which is located minutes to Portland International Airport, was voted the Best Boutique Hotel on Portland Citysearch. So there! The hotel offers a few pet-friendly rooms for your furry travelers.

If you're in the mood for a movie, The Liberty Theatre has some fun options at old-fashioned prices. Monday is double feature night, two movies for 5 bucks. And Tuesday, all movies prices are just $2.50.

Some of my favorite shops include Camas Antiques, Lily Atelier and Lizzabeth A. Many of my Portland friends and family members come to shop the wonderful boutiques in downtown Camas.

If you're thirsty, or need a bite to eat, you have plenty of options. Oliver's in the Camas Hotel offers a more formal dining experience, or you can opt for fresh organic cuisine and a casual ambiance at Nuestra Mesa.

Several times a year, the streets of Camas are closed to traffic for family fun. One of those is the Boo Bash in October. Kids and parents alike descend on the town in costumes looking for treats from downtown Camas merchants.

Chances are, regardless of when you visit, you'll find a friendly face.
