For great Seattle area waterfront homes, Edmonds WA has some amazing spaces and real estate! Edmonds WA is a close in Northern Seattle suburb perched on the Puget Sound with easy commutes to both Seattle and Everett Washington. Everett is one of the sunniest spots in the Seattle area and is known for its scenic views, gorgeous beaches, and wide open parks.
Edmonds WA has some of the most beautiful Seattle area real estate and you can find amazing homes here with sweeping views and right next to Downtown Edmonds for restaurants, shopping, and a fabulous little movie theatre. The shops around here pretty much cover everything you could ever be interested in making Edmonds WA a great self sustaining place to look at homes.
The waterfront here is one of my favorite spots. Edmonds WA has a drive on ferry across the Puget Sound to the waterfront community of Kingston - this could be a great day trip from Downtown Edmonds, and just one more reason to love Edmonds real estate, whether you are wanting a large home on the hill or one of the great waterfront options.
Edmonds has one of the most amazing underwater dive parks, too! My diver friends rave about the sunken trail and the photos I have seen of the overall layout of the park are fascinating! My favorite part, by far about the Edmonds WA waterfront, though, is the waterfront itself - the beach. There are a few sections of it to choose from and a trail all along the waterfront for adventurers. Edmonds waterfront also has an Anthony's and an Arnie's for great seafood waterfront dining.
Edmonds waterfront has a lot to offer and looking at real estate in this Seattle suburb is a great option - wonderful homes with great views!

I know there are many benefits to having a condo but recently the problems have become more prevalent than ever. Where do I begin. As a condo owner, one of the biggest problems that I am coming to grips with is a financially uninlightened board. If you have board that cannot adopt to current changes and the does not understand that raising dues is not a cure all and that it can become a detriment for buyers is a huge problem. I am to the point since prices have come down enough that buying a starter cottage can be a great option. I think that this can be another great option for older clients. I have reviewed many condo's in the area and some are paying as much as $550 per mo in downtown areas in Snohomish.
Unless you have money to burn, I think that this is $6600 that I can go in vacation or put in a high risk investment. What have you got to loose since your just giving it away.
Allot if the issue I see ertains to finance. We have issues with conversions being built to low standards and the association has no budget resulting in escalating montly dues, in addition, you have a property management that you never see and do nothing.
Buying a condo has many benefits but just be aware of pitfalls and look at options. If you can get a small yard and a small home on it, you can always pay someone to take care of the yard.

I am constantly trying to change that, but regardless this commercial from Pemco Insurance in Seattle was filmed in a house I sold last year! This gorgeous view home was vacant while on the market and located in Edmonds overlooking the Puget Sound - one of the very coolest houses I have sold!
The new owners even found a time capsule in the garden! This commercial was very popular at the time that I sold the house and it continues to air quite often - even with my TIVO I bump into it at least once a week. I smile every time:)

Edmonds Washington - Beach fun!I love beaches and really love low tide. My son was a little sick last week so we took some time and went out in the gorgeous sun and fresh air at Edmonds Beach - Brackett's Landing specifically.
Here are some shots, but if you haven't been out there it is a great place to go hang out - there are restrooms, picnic tables, and more plus it is along the waterfront walkway that runs all along Edmonds next to the Puget Sound. Dogs are not allowed at this beach, but it is still worth a trip!
While you are here check out the floats all out on the water - this is an underwater dive park! Also the ferry loading dock for the Kingston-Edmonds run is right here and fun to watch as the cars and people load and unload. We found amazing and colorful starfish and more.
Ferry boat coming in...

This is a wonderful view condo in Edmonds, but prior to staging, there wasn't much to look at in this unit to distinguish it from all of the other "vanilla boxes" in this community.
The condo has a great room, which includes the kitchen, dining area and living room. Potential buyers often have difficulty figuring out how to arrange their furniture in spaces like these. Also, these spaces always appear smaller when vacant. Amazing but true!
Here is the condo's great room prior to staging:

And here are the "after" staging photos:

By showing potential buyers how they can use this space for living and entertaining, this condo stands head and shoulders above the other "plain vanilla boxes" in the complex.
