Sparky's Logo

I knew that I needed to tell the story of Sparky's Plumbing, Heating & Home Repair. David & Elizabeth Larmore envisioned themselves as a small business owner who has inspiration, dedication and commitment to both company and community. The success for the company is built on a strong commitment for customer service and quality workmanship. This is evident in everything they do, from up-front flat rate pricing so customers know exactly what to expect, to hiring the best and experienced technicians and treating them like true professionals to giving back to the community by offering emergency services 24/7.

Sparky's started in 2005; they operated the business from thier home so they could be competitive; this allows them to offer reasonable rates to thier customers. Thier logo was designed and created by implementing a few important elements from thier family. At age 15, David worked part time during the summer at a local gas station in Los Angeles with his brother to earn extra money. Since he was part time they didn't put his name on his work shirt. So David's big brother drove in with his friends to get gas (and of course to give David a hard time) and noticed that David didn't have his name on his shirt; so his brother wrote with a felt pen "Sparky" for spark plug on his work shirt; and for the rest of the day people called David "Sparky".

David's family called him monkey; because he kept following his brother all around and he also loved wearing a baseball cap. The red suspenders is something that Elizabeth's father wears on a daily basis and of course the hammer represented a repairman. Elizabeth added a few touches like the banana in back pocket and the measuring tape.

David's background in the construction field & Elizabeth experience in business management and positive enthusiasm inspired them to open up this business.

Thier son Robert also helped in creating the logo and website http://www.sparkythemonkey.com.

Sparky's offers years of knowledge and experience in plumbing, heating, cooling, refrigeration and home repair for both residential & commercial. Thier staff has the freedom and ability to stay focused on all jobs no matter how challenging they can be.

With only 4 employees this company has served thousands of customers and makes each one feel as they are the only important customer. At Sparky's they work long days, weekends, holidays, and after hours to do whatever it takes to make our customer's needs a priority. Not only to get the job done, but to go beyond the customer's needs and expectations.

The licensed technicians and office staff bring creativity, fresh ideas, and enthusiasm to their customers on every call; they also go the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy and satisfied which brings thier business great success.
