The three friends found friends to design and construct the perfect space at a reasonable price (since they were financing the project themselves!). They assembled their own shelves and display walls. Almost the entire store was constructed by these three friends/owners and much of their interior decorating came from community donations. Finally, on June 25th, 2004 - Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA opened for business!

Since that opening day, Everyday Athlete Kirkland, WA has been the store that podiatrists, physical therapists, trainers, coaches, and athletes have turned to. Why?
