Bridle Trails State Park offers horse show grounds, 3 arenas, bleachers, and a judge stand.

At the horse training center, you will find 55 (12 x 12) matted stalls with windows and sliding closures. Horses will appreciate that the stalls are bedded with “Woody Pet” horse bedding. The outdoor arena has been updated and features an excellent new drainage system, making it available for year round use and dust free. Now
you can ride your horse at night, as the the outdoor arena has newly installed lights. The facility features two large wash rack with overhead radiant heating and heated water, there are six grooming bays with rubbed matted floors and overhead heaters. There are boarding facilities. Horses that stay at the facility are taken care of by 3 caretakers (live on-site and are expertly trained to maintain stalls, feeding program and accommodate the needs of your horse).
At KGF Equestrian Center Kirkland, WA, the horses aren’t the only ones who receive first class treatment. Throughout the facility there are special amenities to make horse care easier for the owner. The church is right off 116th Ave and is within walking distance of Bridle Trails State Park, Bridlewood Stables, and a large parking ride. The church is also near freeway access to I-405.
Lake East Christian Church Kirkland, WA has been serving the community since 1993. The church provides a place of worship for English and Mandarin speaking communities. The church offers worship services every weekend with an English service at 9:30-10:40am and a Mandarin service at 11-12:10pm. The community at Lake East Church believes in building relationships, supporting, and sharing burdens with each other through the weekend service, prayer meetings, and different fellowship groups. Fellowship groups take place on Friday and Saturday evenings. The church is a nice large building, that somewhat resembles a school house. The restaurant did not have a cash register and a shop sign wasn’t installed until a year after the restaurant’s opening! But from the beginning, Pagliacci had the heart for pizza! The philosophy of the restaurant was to be a place where people could eat good pizza. The restaurant lived up to their mission and the shop became popular.

Bridle Trails State Park, the anchor of this great Kirkland neighborhood, is again offering Free Fungi Fun, fall mushroom walks. I went last year and was amazed at what a diversity of fungi we have right here in our own neck of the woods.
Guided walks are lead by mycologist who make exploring fungi great family fun. You will learn how to identify mushrooms and their common names. As well as, learn about the overall biological diversity in the park. I found out that there are over a hundred different varieties of mushrooms that grow here locally.
The walks start in October and are limited to 25 people, so sign up early once dates and details are scheduled and posted through www.bridletrails.org Meet other people from the Bridle Trails neighborhood, learn about the area's name sake park and most of all, have FUN. I will be there again this year in my effort to not only know about the "What" of Real Estate, but to know as much as I can about the "Where" of Real Estate!
