About Kirkland's Downtown

The Kirkland Marina a place for summer fun on Lake Washington

Your Local Seattle / Eastside Realtor, Freddy Delgadillo with Realty Executives: Real Estate Agent in Bellevue, WA

Welcome to the Kirkland Marina, my favorite park in Kirkland. The marina has many attributes and activities that anyone can enjoy. Great restaurants, shopping boutiques, ice cream shops, and large parks that sit on the edge of Lake Washington are just a few highlights.

It's by far one of the most active always-moving parks. If you like boating, this is the place to do it, I mean the cost is inexpensive and you have easy access to Seattle by crossing Lake Washington.

The place to hang out and moor your boat. Most of the locals moor the boat and go into the local restaurants. Wide selection of food, Italian, Mexican, French, Seafood,, and good old hamburgers.

People hanging out and enjoying a cold Gilatto. The rocks are a great place to sit and feed small fish or baby ducks.

You can take your boat across Lake Washington and get to Seattle. You can see the Seattle skyline in the background. I like to water ski and sun bath in this particular spot.

Here are some of my favorite restaurants in downtown Kirkland...

  1. Marina Park Grill - great seafood (view of lake)
  2. Calabria - awesome Italian food (authentic Italia)
  3. Hectors - best breakfast spot (big portions, low costs)
  4. Ben & Jerry's ice cream - ice cream (children love it)
  5. Cactus - Mexican food (fresh, fresh, fresh)
  6. St. James Espresso - coffee shop (free wifi)
  7. Cefiore - yogurt / smoothies (nothing like it)
  8. The slip - burgers & fries (entertaining)

This really is a great place to come and hang out with loved ones on a nice hot summer day. Come on over and enjoy it first hand.

CeFiore in Kirkland has the best yogurt by the Kirkland Marina

Your Local Seattle / Eastside Realtor, Freddy Delgadillo with Realty Executives: Real Estate Agent in Bellevue, WA

CeFiore makes some of the best-frozen yogurt I have ever tasted. I was in Kirkland a few days ago and decided to stop by and pick up a mid-size cup of their new favor "Acaiberry". WOW! It was just awesome, exactly what I needed to quench my palate.

I was on my way to church and decide to buy one to go for my friend Misty that is expecting any day now. So I thought, "hey my wife loved it when she was pregnant so why not buy it for Misty".

Kelsey with CeFiore

I ordered the Acaiberry Yogurt, Kelsey, a bubbly energetic girl that loved working there, helped me. She asked what I wanted for toppings and I ordered raspberries, coconut shreds, and blueberries. That's how Dionne (my wife) loved eating them so I got that.

When I arrived at church I gave it to Misty and she was just beside herself. She said "I have never tasted yogurt this GOOD"! I then told her, I know... me neither, with a big smile on my face.

I would highly recommend this place, the prices are very reasonable and the yogurt is unreal.

Click here for a map so you can guide yourself this summer to CeFiore for awesome yogurt and ice cream.

What is Acaiberry?

Acaiberry is grown in the Amazon rainforest. CeFiore took the Sambazon's organic Acai and developed a new flavor for frozen yogurt. It's very healthy and all natural to eat.

My favorite deserts form CeFiore.

  1. Acaiberry Yogurt
  2. Raspberry - Pomegranate Yogurt
  3. Green Tea Yogurt

Try these other dishes;

  1. Snow Ice
  2. Hibiscus Tea

A Quiet But Major Return Of Kirkland, Washington Real Estate

Gene Dexter, Seattle Realtor: Real Estate Agent in Seattle, WA

The seeming lack of excitement coming from the eastside regarding Google's move to Kirkland / Houghton is hiding a very large fact: this is a major, major thing to be occuring in the local real estate market! The low key style that is the Northwest hides an obvious elephant sitting in the corner of the room.

Values in the condo and casual luxury market have been stagnating for a year now and will most certainly rebound from this influx of hundreds of new Google associates. I don't think buyers at Boulevard have anything to worry about, considering how difficult it was to sell the last few units in late 2007. They took a very temporary hit from the downturn. In the long run, all residents will be considered geniuses for investing in new construction in downtown, east and west of market street, etc.

If there were an official Buy rating among Realtors, Kirkland certainly would be on top of my hot sheet for the next year.

Time to concentrate on Kirkland!

Wilde Rover Irish Pub and Restaurant

Cheryl Middleton: Real Estate Agent in Kirkland, WA

Tonight after showing a property, my husband and I went to downtown Kirkland for an evening out. We decided to try the Wilde Rover Irish Pub and Restaurant, which has a live band on Saturday nights. It was only 8:30 pm, so we avoided a cover charge.

The band "Weatherheads" started with a Beatles song at 9:30, and heated up to a slew of 60s & 70s rock‘n'roll favorites. In no time at all there were dancers getting in some aerobics out on the dance floor. It was a mixed-ages crowd, friendly, and I am so glad smoke free now.

They have excellent food, and when the weather gets nicer, a really pleasant outdoor eating area. This is one of the few remaining night spots with live music and dancing in downtown Kirkland, at 111 Central Way. This is a fun place to go if you want an evening out!
