The original Burke Gilman trail connected Gas Works Park and Tracy Owen Station in Kenmore 12.1 miles away.

The trail was formerly owned by Burlington Northerner Railroad and was abandon in 1971 a citizen group launched a campaign to acquire the abandon railroad tracks and turn it into a non-motorized public biking and walking trail. I personally belong to LA Fitness and Mieko"s and they seem to cater to the same age group. On any given morning between 5-6 AM you can find the regular crowd of 75-100 people doing a wide variety of workouts at Miekos while during the same time LA Fitness has between 35-50 people spread out a larger facility.

All of the clubs offer a nice mix of classes something for all fitness and age levels. The Seattle Athlletic Club has the best café making it nice to grab a quick brand muffing and juice after a morning workout or a sandwich and soup for lunch.

We all know that we are good at some things. We aslo know there are things that, try as we might, we just can't seem to master them. The ridiculous thing is that we try to hide them from ourselves.
