I have checked Moses Lake's market this morning, 3/21/08. There are still a number of homes on the market, in fact there were 259 active stick built homes on the market! That is great news for the home buyer. What choices! It makes it a little more difficult for the home seller.
There were 13 homes 'subject to inspection'. and 51 pending sales as of today; while there were 7 homes in the 'contingent' category. The sold category shows that 146 homes have sold as of 9/23/07.
Most homeowners know that most homes are sold not by owner, but by the Real Estate Profession. If you would like to get an idea of what I can do for you as to marketing, please go to my site at www.KathleenMiles.com and click on the word 'sell'. It will take you to some of the homes I have sold. Next, click on the home itself and you will go to the virtual tour of that home. My marketing is second to none! I enjoy what I do and bring results. Wouldn't you like to see your home marketed like this? Call me at 509-750-3302 or email me at Smiles@KathleenMiles.com

Many people in other states are surprised to learn that there is a desert in the state of Washington. After all, our state is called "the evergreen" state! Nevertheless, Moses Lake is situated on a desert. We enjoy over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average of only 7 inches of rain. It is called a high desert and therefore we also get to enjoy the four seasons!
Because Spring is here, we are starting to 'heat up' in more ways than one. Buyers are beginning to understand that this is a good time to purchase the house of their dreams. People are calling on our listings and on weekends, our streets are filled with families checking out the open houses!
I think the news is out, that this is a wonderful place to live! Moses Lake is a fabulous place to visit in Summer and a great place to retire! Our town is growing and much is happening, but it is still easy to get around and traffic is not a problem. We welcome new growth and new faces!
We are a farming community. thanks to the reclamation project of the 1940's. The system of canals and the raising and lowering of Moses Lake in the Sping and Fall, insure that our ground continues to produce some of the best potatoes, commodities and vegetables in the nation! We have wineries and apples; the growing season is long and the weather is wonderful. If it is raining where you are, it is most likely sunny and dry in Moses Lake!
We are a welcoming community and I invite you to visit and enjoy our hospitality.
