Third round of ownership, but menu looks amazing!
As reported in the Mountlake Terrace High School Hawkeye paper, Sorelli's opened again under new ownership this last week with a whole new expanded menu.
Anyone tried some of the menu items yet? This is the third ownership for Sorelli's in over ten years since it began. Seems like all three owners have completely different visions, but the community loves this place anyway! Here's to hoping that third time is a charm. We still miss those amazing calzones from the lovely ladies who started Sorelli's over ten years ago, but the new ownership looks pretty promising based on the menu items I have seen so far!

MLTNews.com: This is a great community blog! Dustin who runs it is ON IT!!!
I let Dustin at MLTNews.Com know that Sorelli's had a big eviction sign on it and he got right to the scoop!
http://mltnews.com/sorelli-pizza-evicted/

Good information for Mountlake Terrace!
Today he has another great post about the dog park struggles to get running water for the pups. I highly recommend you check out his site if you get the chance!
Great info - from a great guy who really cares about Mountlake Terrace! Just one more reason why Mountlake Terrace is a great place to move!

Sorelli's Pizza on 44th just closed up shop.
That is sad. I hope it is not permanent, but there is eviction paperwork all over the doors and they have not been open for a few days.
The restaurant has been a local favorite for a while because of their good food and friendly service. All of their stuff inside is intact so maybe there is still hope, but sad just the same.

So the lease is up in January for the Mountlake Terrace Post Office and apparently it is up to Congress at this point as to whether or not we get to keep a local post office here in the city - in the city which is getting great amounts of improvements with recent revitalization movements and the transit center.
Who do you call to get heard?
The Mayor 425-776-1161
Congressman Jay Inslee: http://www.house.gov/inslee/contact/email.html
Here is what I wrote to Mr. Inslee:
"Mountlake Terrace Post Office lease is up in January and apparently there is some question at the state level as to whether or not the community needs a post office here? WE DO! MLT has struggled to get on the map as a viable community and finally people are starting to see the value of this city and moving in - the transit center has helped and the revitalization efforts going on are key but how are we suppose to sell MLT as being a great place to live when residents have to drive to an already over crowded post office in Lynnwood? Not a very sustainable plan for this community. We need the post office!"
What do you think about this smooth move?
PLEASE let them know that a post office in Mountlake Terrace is NEEDED!!!!

Mountlake Terrace real estate: Big boost! I knew when I pulled stats today and there were just slightly over 20 Mountlake Terrace homes available for $300,000 and under compared to the higher numbers of surrounding suburbs that people might be finally getting it about this cool city. Then I saw this great link showing that of all Seattle neighborhoods and suburbs, Mountlake Terrace takes the number four spot!
Mountlake Terrace WA is a great choice for homes! I have been saying all along how great this Seattle suburb is and I am glad to see that it is finally getting some great play in the media! Whoo hoo!
Do you want to check out Mountlake Terrace real estate? Now is a great time - affordable housing and close to Seattle with great new solar powered transit station and new freeway island on its way!
