Sorelli Pizza in Mountlake Terrace WA: The #4 Best Place To Live In Seattle - just one more reason to live there! The Seattle suburbs just recently got a push with this great list and Mountlake Terrace came in at number 4! Sorelli's first opened a little over ten years ago by two wonderful women and they made some amazing natural calzones and pizza with yummy pesto. My daughter was practically formed in the womb by those calzones! I was sad when they decided to sell the restaurant, but Kevin the current owner took this Mountlake Terrace pizza place and really turned it into a popular community place to gather, watch sports, and enjoy great pizza in a truly unique fashion.
You see, when you order a "slice" of pizza at Sorelli's Pizza in Mountlake Terrace, WA, you are getting a lot more than you might have thought you ordered. These slices tend to tip the scale, and they actually give you two slices for the price of one because they cut it in half. The entire double serving is the size of an entire pizza if it were round. The ingredients are fresh and the sauce is tangy and sweet - all quality all the time.
The people that work here are so wonderful and it is a truly family friendly community oriented place. Come here for a party or come here to watch sports because the TVs are about as big as the pizza. This is a fun place and so popular that even a well known popular pizza chain had to move to a further away location because Sorelli's took over the Mountlake Terrace WA pizza lover's soul (and maybe all of the North Seattle Suburbs as well:))
Where is Sorelli Pizza in Mountlake Terrace WA? On 44th between 228th and 212th - the West side of the street all on its own in the residential section of Mountlake Terrace.
22402 44th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043 425-712-1980

Amorn Thai has only been in business for a couple years, but it is arguably the best Seattle area Thai food. You won't find this small mom and pop Thai restaurant in a posh Downtown Seattle location, though the food is worthy, but rather in the North Seattle suburb of Mountlake Terrace just a few blocks off the 236th St Exit if you are on North I-5.
Each fabulous dish is handcrafted by Amorn himself with the help of Ning his wife and their adorable family in the background waiting tables. The spices in this Thai food are like nothing else I have ever tasted at any Thai restaurant in the Seattle area - a perfect Thai blend of sweet and spicy with intricate layers of flavors in between. Amorn has perfected this menu and has great food offerings for meat eaters and vegetarians alike.
Best Thai food choices in Seattle area no matter what you like to eat! My family is half and half as far as the meat and veggie preferences so we have sampled quite a few menu items over the last year or so since we discovered this gem. Our favorite vegetarian dishes are the Tofu Ka Prow and the Praram Tofu. The vegetable Phad Thai is also amazing. We love the spring rolls and like to order them a little differently with spicy plum sauce. Favorite meat dishes are red curry chicken and the fried garlic beef apparently is amazing according to my meat loving half of the family. Rice is ordered separately. Portions are large and food is extremely reasonable in price.
If you find yourself craving the very best Seattle area Thai food, then you really need to venture out to Amorn Thai! Casual attire. 22828 56th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043

"214th & 44th Traffic Signal
The new signal will enhance safety and increase
capacity of 44th Avenue West and
214th Street SW. The project includes
interconnecting the new signal with
the existing signals at 212th Street SW
and 217th Street SW so all three will operate in coordination. Other
improvements at the intersection include new sidewalk ramps, uniform
street lighting, and consolidation of the two driveways into a single
driveway on the west approach to the signal. Construction is scheduled
be begin late summer."
Hallelujah! This signal has been in the works for about ten years - at least, I know this for a fact because ten years ago I was complaining about another intersection and was told that this one was next on their list - 10 years ago!!!! Thank you Mountlake Terrace! I look forward to this change - I have witnessed too many accidents there to not appreciate it and look forward to this light!

Looking at the revitalization of Mountlake Terrace?Mountlake Terrace real estate is looking at some changes over the next decade. Revitalization efforts for this close in Seattle suburb are going strong. Things really got moving after a year of the park and ride closure when the new state of the art Eco-friendly Mountlake Terrace Transit Center opened up - complete with solar panels!
How about the Sound Transit freeway stop (flyer stop) right in the middle of I-5 as an extension to the existing MLT Transit Station? This state of the art facility would be connected to the MLT transit center via a pedestrian bridge and provide express bus service from Seattle to Everett - it is already a 15 to 20 minute bus ride downtown from MLT - imagine how much better that will be! Construction is scheduled to begin soon with completion projected for 2011.
Link Light Rail!!!! Mountlake Terrace is an ideal spot for Link to connect to because of its close proximity to so many other suburbs just North of Seattle. The Sound Transit Light Rail Station has already been approved by voters, but completion is not expected for sometime: projected at 2023 or sooner.

This was a property that had been on the market for a while and our buyers were able to purchase it at a great price! Four bedrooms and two baths - 2450 Square feet with a huge two car garage. Some cosmetics and big clean ups needed but negotiated sale price was perfect!
Now is a great time to check out some of the MLT properties available - with the $8000 tax credit incentive and low interest rates combined with great prices and revitalization in the city, this is a good choice for bang for buck real estate close in to Seattle!
