It's that time of year! School is set to start tomorrow for the schools in Pullman, WA. Jefferson Elementary, Franklin Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, Lincoln Middle School and Pullman High School will be starting bright and early on August 24, 2011.
I love this time of year! The kids are looking forward to getting back to their stomping ground, to see their friends and meet their teachers. My daughter can't wait. She has labeled the items that the teachers requested she bring in and she has the first day of school outfit in mind for tomorrow.
If you're one of the families attending Sunnyside Elementary School in Pullman, I've attached the link to the supply list for your review. Good luck kids in School! And Parents, enjoy your kids first day of school!

I would like to wish you all a very wonderful fourth of July weekend in Pullman Washington. We have some great events right here in Pullman at Sunnyside Park. At five o'clock we have a community barbecue at the picnic shelter. At 5:30 our community band will perform followed by Dan Mayer at 6:15.
At 7:15 the King Pins will take center stage and they will be playing their fun music setting the stage for the fireworks that will of course begin shortly after dark .
I hope that you have a wonderful fourth of July weekend and I hope to see you out and about. That is one of the wonderful things about living in small community like Pullman. Our community comes to live around such great events! II hope to see you out at the Fourth of July celebration here in Pullman!

Sunnyside Hill is located in the southwestern part of Pullman Washington and has homes ranging from vintage homes nearer downtown Pullman to newer homes both in the Sunnyside Heights as well as affordable Whispering Hills.
This year to date in Pullman, we currently have 39 Active Single Family Homes, Condos and Townhouses. We have Sold 54 with 9 Pending.

Those who chose to live on this hill love it's central location to both Washington State University which is a mere 10 minutes driving distance. Sunnyside Hill is home to Sunnyside Elementary School, one of three Elementary Schools in Pullman. Lincoln Middle School is on nearby Pioneer Hill and the High School is found on Military Hill near the Pullman Aquatics Center.
One of the things folks love moving to Pullman is that one can pretty much get anywhere in Pullman within about 10 minutes driving time and is part of the charm of living in a small community.

One of the beloved parks of our community, Sunnyside Park, is centrally situated on the Sunnyside Hill. This lovely park with play fields,
ponds and gazebo is home to our community wide 4th of July Celebration. Many of the homes I have listed and sold on this hill find the park to be a major reason why they chose Sunnyside Hill

I took these pictures from my back deck yesterday evening and I thought...this is Pullman at it's best!
I love the fact that I see Sunnyside Park in the background and there is wheat being harvested pretty much in our backyard. My dog is barking, my daughter is looking from inside our home and I am in awe as this huge piece of machinery is working its magic!

I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed the scenery!
