About Sammamish's Pine Lake

Pine Lake Waterfront Homes - Sammamish Waterfront Real Estate

Sam DeBord - Seattle Real Estate Broker: Real Estate Agent in Seattle, WA

Pine Lake in Sammamish sits in a beautiful location, surrounded by forests and dotted along its shoreline by waterfront homes, from small cottages to expansive estates. The location creates a short commute into Redmond and Bellevue, or a reasonable commute to downtown Seattle. While Pine Lake waterfront homes are often overshadowed by the much larger inventory of waterfront homes on Lake Sammamish, the location and feel of Pine Lake is a world apart. Inexpensive homes on the lake can start around $500,000, but there are plenty of multi-million dollar modern homes available as well.

Pine Lake Park is located along the eastern shoreline of the lake, and is run buy the city of Sammamish. It offers a public swimming beach, boat launch, fishing pier, and public play areas. There are also sports courts and picnic facilities available. Events such as Shakespeare in the Park and the city’s Summer Nights in the Park music concert series draw plenty of local residents. The lake is also well-known among fishermen for its healthy trout population.

French's La Pine Resort as it was named back in the 30's when Marion Reiff French bought the 18 acre resort in 1932 but most called it "Frenchy's." Some time around 1966 or 1967 King County bought the Resort and converted it to a public park. Read more about the history Today there are million dollar waterfront homes all around the Pine Lake.
