West Seattle Delridge Community Center is a wonderful park with plenty of activities for any of all ages. I live a few blocks away from the park, so I frequent it regularly. Located on the corner of Genesee St. and Delridge Way there is large grassy field. I often see people playing frisby with their dogs and children chasing each other in the park. On the southern side of Delridge Community Center there is a softball and soccer field, of which I had the opportunity to play on today. I recently joined a softball league and needed a central meeting place for practice. The Delridge Community Center was an ideal meeting spot. We would have practiced longer if it wasn't for the rain. The tennis courts always seem to be occupied. With so much to do, there's something for anyone! So bring the family down to the West Seattle Delridge Community Center for some summer fun!

Some creative design folks came up with this idea: http://sitsip.com/events.html check out this great household item swap going on this Saturday! Think clothing exchange for your house... If you sign up today you can go with a friend for only $15. On the day of the swap it will be $20 at the door. Pretty cool stuff and I am torn about whether to start swapping out some of my staging items. Most stuff we have is classic but occasionally there is an item that could be a bit more updated.
Anyone else planning on going?
