South Seattle Community College, located in the West Seattle area, is now offering a program that awards Certificates and AA degrees for South Seattle Community College wine making (through the Northwest Wine Academy), which pairs well with their award winning Culinary Arts Program.

South Seattle Community College can help jump start your career in wine making, as well as help you with current trends, wine marketing and advertising, wine sales, & food and pairing. Right now, with the economy becoming increasingly difficult, this is a great time to refine your skills to stay marketable or to learn something new that will deepen your knowledge in one of the industries that will remain for years to come!! As most of you may have full-time jobs already, this is the perfect class for you since most of them are in the evenings so no excuses for dipping your feet into the wine and hospitality industry!

My goodness, how loudly can I yell this, "THE REAL ESTATE BOTTOM IS PAST, WE ARE ON THE WAY UP." As with all of us that have been around for several years, this too has passed. Always look for Fun In Your DAY! look @ the Grass CAR

I love trying out new restaurants and it's always good to find a great deal too. In this year's Urban Eats is a wonderful list of places to try out and one that I had the pleasure of checking out earlier this week during a client dinner is Ama Ama.

Located in West Seattle, this lovely place has a gorgeous interior with lots of chocolate colors and modern light fixtures. It was warm, inviting, and very hip. I could totally see this interior design easily fitting in to Belltown and here it was one block south of "the junction" of California and Alaska streets. The 3 for $30 menu had some great food options and we were not disappointed. I'll be back!
