Snoqualmie Ridge is a master-planned community in the beautiful Upper Snoqualmie Valley of western Washington State - a jumping off point to the endless recreational opportunities in the Cascades. Located almost within walking distance, Snoqualmie Falls is a 270ft waterfall which draws more than 1.5 million visitors from around the world each year.

A comfortable distance off Interstate 90, Snoqualmie Ridge is a convenient 10-15 minute drive to major shopping in Issaquah, and only 25-35 minutes away from Downtown Seattle and the SeaTac Airport, but there are also many options for shopping and dining locally as well. Residents and visitors to "The Ridge" enjoy easy access to dining options such as Finaghty's Irish Pub, Uncle Si's Pizza, Mabel's on the Ridge and Spicoli Sub Shop. Almost all of the restaruants located offer outdoor seating, allowing their guest to enjoy the mild temperatures and scenic views.
Shopping and other services are plentiful as well. The largest anchor of the Center Blvd. shops is The Ridge Supermarket, an independent IGA Grocery store operated by family-owned Myers Group. Other shopping and service options include Acacia Salon, State Farm Insurance, Snoqualmie Falls Dental, Kirby Nelson Orthodontics Great Clips, ReMax Integrity and Snoqualmie Valley Eye Care.
At the heart of the more than 1300 acres, sits a Jack Nicklaus designed TPC Golf Course. Opened in 1999, this breathtaking golf course has been host to the annual Boeing Classic PGA Champions Tour tournament, and offers an unparalleled golf experience among the stunning beauty and backdrop of the Snoqualmie Valley and Washington Cascades.
The entire Eastside of the Seattle metro area is a great place to live! If you are looking to relocate to Seattle, or you are interested specifically in the Issaquah area, be sure to also take the beautiful 8-12 minute drive into the Cascades towards the Snoqualmie Valley and the very family-friendly Snoqualmie Ridge.

Snoqualmie Ridge Homes For Sale
Every time I see this picture it brings me back to when I first brought a friend from out of town to Snoqualmie Ridge. She said "Oh my gosh this is just like Pleasantville". Although you won't find Reese Witherspoon or Toby Maguire on Snoqualmie Ridge, you can find many similarities to the movie. A Mom and Pop downtown atmosphere and neighborhoods that are reminiscent of "Cheers", "Where everybody knows.....your name". Snoqualmie Ridge is a great place to call home. With plenty of parks, trails and even a TPC Golf Course there is never an excuse to enjoy "The Ridge".

Northwest Railway Museum
38625 SE King Street, Snoqualmie, WA, 98065
(425) 888-3030
I just took my entire family to visit the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in trains, the Pacific Northwest, or family events in the greater Seattle or Bellevue, WA area. The Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA is located about 40-45 minutes east of Seattle, WA.
The Nortthwest Rainway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA is a turn of the century train depot surrounded by a number of historic and antique trains, engines, boxcars, and cabooses. Children can explore and play in the majority of the cars. They also have great volunteers who explain each train and the aspects of working on antique trains.
We went on my daughter's pre-school field trip. It involved a discussion of train conductor signalling and communication, a story time, a treasure hunt, and puzzles and games. The highlight of the days was a train ride in one of the older trains. The train went from downtown Snoqualmie to the Snoqualmie Falls and Salish Lodge and back. The whole excursion took about 3 hours. The train ride itself was 30 minutes.
On the whole, it was a great trip and experience, even for my children who are not particularly interested in trains. In the greater Seattle area, the Northwest Train Museum in Snoqualmie, WA is a great tourist attraction, particularly on a sunny day.
My favorite exhibit was the small orange engine that you can climb into located in the middle of the park.
