A great place to run!

SPOKANIMAL'S DOG PARK AT HIGHBRIDGE!

After five years of wanting, waiting, dreaming and negotiating, Spokane's First Dog Park has become a reality. Thanks to the generous support of SpokAnimal donors and friends, Phase 1 of development is underway with the installation of fencing for the safety of our four-legged best friends! Fencing is expected to be completed by the end of January.

The 11-plus acre park is located next to High Bridge Park (across from the disk golf course) near the corner of "A" Street and Riverside Ave.

Directions: take Riverside west from downtown. Look for "A" street and turn left. If you are coming on Government Way, turn east on Riverside; look for "A" street and turn right.

Look! SpokAnimal's Dog Park at High Bridge is getting fenced!
The small dog area is mostly enclosed, and one side of the big dog area is fenced all the way up to Government Way. It was a beautiful day at Spokane's new dog park today, and we'll post more photos on Facebook so you can see the progress!

Thanks to Nancy Goodspeed from Spokane's Parks and Rec. Dpt. for the story on the new park! Way too cool, but can you bring your cat also, if she's on a leash? Kidding of course...
